[:fi]Nanol Technologies was selected as one of the five winners of the ENGIE Brazil Innovation award 2015, organised by the company Engie. The winners of the contest have the chance to incorporate their products into the operations of ENGIE Tractebel Energia, the largest private sector generator of electrical energy in Brazil.
“We didin’t expect to win the prize, which makes this a very positive surprise. Apparently our technology, specializing in nano additive lubricants, appealed to Engie”, says Johan von Knorring, CEO and Founder of Nanol Technologies.
Nanol’s innovative lubricant additive will now be tested at the Jorge Lacerda Complex, which is the biggest coal power plant of South America. Luiz Felipe, maintenance Engineer Manager explains:
“We found a great opportunity to test Nanol’s additive in our unit. At the end of the test we expect to be able to reduce the temperature in our equipment, and we also expect an increase in the equipment’s reliability and availability, thus extending the lifetime of the equipment.”
