Per Jacobsson (52) has experience from the Oil Marketing Industry since 1995. Per started working in Kenya for Kenol Kobil a listed company on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. Enjoying approximately 20% market share, with Retail and Commercial/industrial sales as well as Aviation and exports. Per held positions as the Budget Controller between -95-97. Between -98 and 2001 he held the position as the Aviation & International Sales Manager. As the later he was responsible for the company’s expansion to Uganda and Tanzania, Direct exports and Aviation with customers like British Airways, KLM, Kenya Airways among others.
David Whitby is Chief Executive of Pathmaster Marketing Ltd, a business development consultancy for the international downstream oil, gas and energy industries, which he founded in 1992. Pathmaster Marketing has advised clients globallyon business planning, business strategy, market development and technology commercialisation. Specialist sectors include lubricants, fuels, new energies and speciality chemicals.
An Australian by birth, David began his career with British Petroleum, as a process chemist in a refinery in Western Australia. He worked for BP for 22 years in a number of management positions, including Marketing and Business Development Manager at Kalsep (an advanced separations company), Business Manager at BP Ventures, Project Leader for Industrial Lubricants at BP Research and Marketing Services Officer at Duckhams Oils.
David was Programme Director for Lubricants Courses at the Oxford Princeton Programme and he ran the Advanced Lubrication Training Programme for the UK Lubricants Association. He has written numerous papers and articles on lubricants, has chaired and lectured to international conferences and directed over 120 training lubricants courses in more than 30 countries. He writes the bimonthly “Worldwide” column for Tribology and Lubrication Tribology, published by the US Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers.
Mr Martyn Mann has spent over 40 years in the lubricant industry, mainly specialising in all technical aspects of design, formulation and customer service. More recently, using nanotechnology chemistry, he has been responsible for three innovation awards in lubrication reduced friction and improved durability associated with improved lubricant design. He has been the President of the UK Lubricant Association.
Over 25 years of experience in the lubricant additives industry with Afton Chemical and Infineum. Recognized expert on lubricants for engine, driveline, industrial and off-road applications with in-depth knowledge of the global lubricants market. PhD in Chemistry from University of Cambridge.
Previous chairman of Royal Dutch Shell, strong leadership experience and networks across sectors. Currently Chairman of the Board in Outokumpu Oyj and Miltton Oyj. Previous roles have included Chairman of the Board of Royal Dutch Shell as well as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Nokia.
