After having successfully used Nanol on M/V Seagard for almost two years, Transfennica has now decided to use Nanol on another vessel too. Starting October 2017, Nanol additive will be used in the main engine of M/V Bore Bank: a Ro-Ro vessel owned by Bore Ltd. and chartered by Transfennica.

Transfennica started using Nanol on the vessel M/V Seagard in December 2015. In an independent study from NAPA, conducted a few months later, it was shown that the fuel consumption in the vessel had been reduced by two per cent through the use of Nanol.
